A capital-light thesis,
governed like it plans to scale.
Qazivo Biotech (OPC) Private Limited is structured to be transparent from its earliest days, because the credibility we're asking retailers, partners, and regulators to extend us starts with the credibility of the company itself.
The entity, in brief
Qazivo Biotech is incorporated as a One Person Company (OPC) under the Companies Act, 2013. The structure gives a single-founder company full corporate personhood, limited liability, and a statutory nominee-director framework, while staying lean enough to move quickly in its earliest phase.
Further statutory filings and financial disclosures will be added here as the company progresses through its early milestones.
Why nutraceuticals, why this structure
A structurally growing category
Consumer demand for preventive, evidence-informed health products is rising globally. India's nutraceutical sector, backed by a deep botanical-sourcing base and a maturing regulatory regime, is positioned as both a production hub and a growth market in its own right.
Asset-light, standards-heavy
By directing formulation science and brand while contracting licensed, audited manufacturers for production, Qazivo avoids the fixed capital cost of owning a plant. That capital goes to R&D, quality assurance, and market entry instead.
Global-standard from day one
Formulation dossiers, documentation and claims discipline are built to travel across regulatory regimes from the outset, reducing the cost and delay of later international expansion.
Discipline before it's required
As an OPC, Qazivo already operates with a statutory nominee-director structure and formal annual filing obligations under Indian company law. As the company raises capital and grows its team, we intend to convert to a private limited company with an independent board and formal audit and quality-oversight committees.
Financial statements, statutory filings, and governance updates will be made available to prospective investors under appropriate confidentiality terms. Reach out via the investor contact below to request our current data room.
Early-stage priorities
Risk factors
A real investor record states the risks alongside the thesis. Qazivo is an early-stage, pre-revenue company, and the following should be weighed as plainly as the opportunity above.
| Risk | What it means in practice |
|---|---|
| Pre-revenue, pre-launch | No formulation has reached market and no sales history exists. Timelines to first revenue depend on partner qualification and testing outcomes not yet complete. |
| Manufacturing-partner dependency | The asset-light model concentrates execution risk in third-party facilities. A qualified partner falling out of compliance, or hitting capacity constraints, can delay a launch Qazivo doesn't directly control. |
| Regulatory execution | Health-adjacent claims are regulated differently across India, the GCC, Southeast Asia, and Western markets; substantiating claims and securing labelling approval in a new market can take longer than planned. |
| Category competition | Nutraceuticals is a crowded, well-capitalised global category. Differentiation on formulation rigor and documentation does not by itself guarantee commercial traction. |
| Single-founder structure | As an OPC, Qazivo currently operates with concentrated decision-making. The governance roadmap above describes our intended path to a broader board. It is not yet complete. |
